About Pic2SVG
Shared by the Pic2SVG team. Pic2SVG helps designers and makers recover editable outlines from an existing PNG, JPG or WebP logo, drawing or flat illustration. It uses deterministic VTracer-based tracing rather than generating a new image from a text prompt. Compare Balanced and Compact output, adjust the tracing controls and inspect the vector preview before exporting. Individual SVG previews and downloads are free without an account for personal, non-commercial work. Paid plans add export formats and licensing options; commercial use and output resale have different plan requirements. A practical use is preparing a logo for further editing, or taking simple artwork into a Cricut, Silhouette or laser workflow. The trace produces filled contours, not automatic single-stroke centerlines or a guaranteed ready-to-cut job. Check background shapes, overlapping layers and final dimensions in the editor or machine software before using material. For repeat conversions, the site also documents an API, CLI and MCP workflow. The hosted converter processes uploads on Pic2SVG's server; it is not an offline or local-only application. Use source artwork you own or have permission to convert.
